Sarah and Alex tied the knot last weekend at the Greysolon Ballroom in Duluth and it could not have been more beautiful!
Duluth has been on my bucket list of locations to shoot at since I started in this business; it’s such a charming city and Lake Superior is really something special.
This wedding corresponded with my own anniversary with my husband, so we took advantage of the excuse to go up to Duluth and spent the entire weekend up there exploring, shopping, eating and drinking wine.
(Side note: my husband and I actually considered the Greysolon Ballroom as our wedding venue when we were planning our wedding! We ultimately decided the drive was too far for our friends and family but I was thrilled to have a chance to witness and capture a wedding at the gorgeous venue!).
Sarah and Alex chose not to do a first look, so Alex saw Sarah for the first time when she walked down the aisle to him and it was such a sweet moment! Their friends and family surrounded them with tons of love and support and Sarah couldn’t stop smiling.
Sarah and Alex and the wedding party wanted some photos in Canal Park, so we all escaped during cocktail hour and got some fun shots by the lift bridge and the boardwalk. Lake superior was as calm as I have ever seen it and there was a nice Fall breeze.
Needless to say, I will be back to Duluth many times in the future!
